Our client, a leading provider of high-performance time-series databases and monitoring solutions trusted by major companies like Adidas, WIX, and CERN, is seeking an SMB Sales Representative to drive sales initiatives within the small and medium-sized business (SMB) sector. This role focuses on building strong relationships with SMB clients, navigating the full sales cycle, and tailoring solutions to their unique needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Lifecycle Management: Identify, engage, and guide SMB clients through the entire sales process, from prospecting to closing.
  • Client Relationship Building: Develop lasting relationships with SMB decision-makers and key stakeholders.
  • Collaboration: Work with internal sales and support teams to ensure seamless onboarding and client satisfaction.
  • Market Analysis: Leverage client feedback and market trends to identify new opportunities and refine strategies.
  • Custom Solutions: Prepare tailored presentations and proposals that resonate with SMB-specific requirements.
  • Target Achievement: Consistently meet and exceed sales targets while maintaining a strong sales pipeline.
  • Industry Awareness: Stay informed on technology trends and VictoriaMetrics product updates to better serve SMB clients.


Essential Skills:

  • 3+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally with SMB clients in IT or software industries.
  • Proven success in selling open-source solutions or IT products.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills, with a focus on upselling opportunities.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Customer-focused approach with the ability to adapt to dynamic environments and shifting priorities.
  • Familiarity with NoSQL data technologies or enterprise IT solutions (e.g., Systems Management, Cloud Management, log analytics, APM) is a plus.
  • Track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
