Job Overview

TIG Risk Services, a prominent national investigative firm headquartered in Destin, Florida, is currently seeking a skilled Private Investigator to join our team in the South Lake Tahoe area. With over 23 years of experience serving the insurance, government, and legal sectors, we are dedicated to delivering high-quality investigative services. This role involves conducting surveillance related to worker’s compensation, auto liability, general liability, and both short and long-term disability claims.

Key Responsibilities

Execute surveillance operations and conduct activity checks on various claims
Perform background investigations as required
Take accurate statements and carry out thorough scene inspections
Compile detailed reports based on surveillance findings
Ensure meticulous documentation and adherence to all legal guidelines

Required Skills

Minimum of two years of experience in surveillance
Exceptional report writing and verbal communication skills
Proven ability to conduct both stationary and mobile surveillance in diverse environments
Comfort with pretext investigations and working in high-crime areas

Qualifications

Active Private Investigator License in California is mandatory
Familiarity with Special Investigative Unit (SIU) functions, including scene inspections and statement collection, is preferred
