Job Overview

TIG Risk Services is actively seeking a qualified Private Investigator to join our esteemed team in the Redding area. This role demands a California-licensed investigator to conduct surveillance for various claims, including worker’s compensation, auto liability, general liability, and both short and long-term disability. Compensation begins at $40 per hour, reflecting our commitment to attracting top-tier talent.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough surveillance and activity checks to support multiple claim types.
  • Perform background investigations to assist our clients in the insurance, government, and legal sectors.
  • Take statements and conduct scene inspections as required by case needs.
  • Develop comprehensive reports detailing findings and observations from investigations.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of two years of experience in surveillance operations.
  • Proficiency in Special Investigation Unit (SIU) functions, including taking statements and performing scene inspections.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Capability to execute both stationary and mobile surveillance in diverse environments, including areas with higher crime rates.
  • Comfort with conducting pretext investigations.
  • Possession of an active PI License in California.

Qualifications

  • Active Private Investigator License in California is mandatory.
  • Proven experience in surveillance, with at least two years in the field.
  • Excellent report writing and communication skills are essential.
