Job Overview

TIG Risk Services is actively seeking a dedicated Private Investigator to join our esteemed team in the Chico area. The ideal candidate will hold a valid California Private Investigator License and will be responsible for conducting surveillance related to various claims, including worker’s compensation, auto liability, general liability, and both long and short-term disability claims.

Key Responsibilities

Execute surveillance operations on a range of insurance claims.
Conduct activity checks and perform thorough background investigations.
Prepare and deliver comprehensive reports detailing investigative findings.
Collaborate effectively with colleagues to ensure meticulous investigations.

Required Skills

A minimum of two years of experience in surveillance.
Familiarity with Special Investigations Unit (SIU) functions, including taking statements and conducting scene inspections.
Proficient report writing and strong verbal communication abilities.
Capability to undertake both stationary and mobile surveillance in diverse environments, including high-crime areas.
Comfort and experience with pretext investigations.

Qualifications

An active Private Investigator License in California is mandatory.
At least two years of relevant investigative experience is required.
Excellent interpersonal skills to facilitate effective communication.
