About the role

As the National Education Support Officer, you will play a key role in supporting the RACGP’s GP Training Program by providing high-quality administrative and project support to the National Medical Education leadership team and Clinical Leads. Reporting to the National Medical Education Manager, you will contribute to the smooth operation and delivery of national medical education initiatives and projects.

In this role, you will:

  • coordinate administrative support across various activities, including reports, meeting schedules, and minutes.
  • coordinate National Medical Education projects and provide support to the leadership team.
  • schedule and facilitate face to face and online training sessions and meetings, ensuring documentation is accurate and distributed on time.
  • work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to achieve program goals.
  • assist with travel bookings and event planning for the National Medical Education team.


This role is ideal for someone with a passion for education and training delivery, who thrives in dynamic environments, and has exceptional organisational and communication skills.

  • Strong administrative and organisational skills in dynamic environments.
  • Excellent communication abilities, including report writing and stakeholder engagement.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and adaptable to specialised software.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and build positive relationships.
