There is currently an opportunity for an experienced Specification Manager to join the team in launching the Oasis brand in the North American market. The Specification Manager is responsible for developing long term business relationships with Key Architectural, Engineering and Consulting (AEC) firms, as well as wholesalers, mechanical contracting partners, and individual influencers and for creating demand for Oasis products by establishing, managing and maintaining a specification project pipeline. He/She will also work with Oasis distributor sales teams to developing relationships through training, events, CEU’s, and all related activities. This role is responsible for the following territory: North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Northern Illinois, Michigan, Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Vermont and Maine. Candidate must live in territory. Preference for candidates who live in a large city such as Philadelphia, Pittsburgh or New York City.

Essential Job Functions
Account Development: Develops and implements sales plans that include market analysis, account opportunities, short and long term goals, strategic initiatives, and measurable outcomes. This may include but is not limited to:
Specification Recommendations by Account / Division
Conduct regular training at Engineer, Architect and all specifier levels
Travel with Regional Manager sales team and make regular visits to dealers, specifiers, builders, engineers, architects, commercial developers, healthcare, higher and lower education.
Develop a national project pipeline for Oasis products
Leverage CRM to drive alignment with the broader sales organization to include manufacturer’s representatives
Relationships:
Establish and maintain working relationships with influencers & specifiers such as Architects, Contractors and consulting Engineers, to ensure that Oasis products are specified on all targeted projects
Regular interphase with targeted specifiers to build and maintain productive relationships
Identify and contact new specifiers in order to establish a business relationship
Install Oasis test products with key targets to drive advocacy
Report to the Product Management Team on market trends, new competitive products and any issues of significanc
Flexibility and ability to broker meaningful relationships a must
Products and Marketing:
Meeting and exceeding Sales & Margin budgets for your region
Maintain a high level of understanding on key industry trends and tools including Building Information Modeling (BIM), International WELL Building Standard & LEED green building rating system
Keep abreast of products and technologies through in-house training, external courses, trade publications, etc.
Participate in trade shows and assist colleagues with presentations
Introduce new products using samples and “lunch and learn” presentations at ASPE meetings, specifier offices
Assist customers with correct product selection, design and services specification while seeking opportunities to maximize product specifications.
Job Requirements:
3- 5 years’ experience in national specification sales into residential, multi-family, hospitality, & commercial specification markets, ie: architects, engineers, interior designers, plumbing wholesalers, local municipalities, and higher and lower education segments a must.
Must possess active national relationships, and be able to leverage those relationships in the near term to secure initial specification and “flip” competitive specification
Ability to analyze market conditions and competition and develop strategic responses to opportunities.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment is essential.
Must be able to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
Solid business acumen.
Good verbal and written communications skills; good presentation skills.
Ability to effectively work in a team environment across multi-functional disciplines.
Good planning and organization skills; self-starter with solid problem-solving ability.
Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Ability to travel as required – 50-75% of time.
Bachelor’s Degree preferred in Business or equivalent work experience.
3-5 years of sales experience.
Experience in commercial wholesale plumbing is strongly preferred.
Compensation for this role ranges from $85,000 to $135,000.
