OVERVIEW
EagleView, the leader in aerial imagery, is hiring a Business Development Representative in our growing Commercial Imagery Sales Team. In this role you’ll identify and develop new business through outbound prospecting efforts within a specific industry. Your efforts will aid in the development of pipeline growth and sales throughout the vertical. Partnering with Inside Sales and Account Managers, the Business Development Representative is an integral part of our Sales Team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Identify and research potential clients through various channels (online research, networking, inbound inquiries)
• Conduct outreach via cold calls, emails, and social media to engage prospective clients
• Qualify leads by understanding their needs and assessing alignment with company products or services
• Set appointments and coordinate meetings for senior sales representatives or account executives
• Manage and maintain an active pipeline of leads in the CRM system, ensuring timely follow-ups
• Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitors to uncover business opportunities
• Collaborate with sales teams to align outreach efforts and refine messaging strategies
• Provide regular updates and reports on key performance indicators (qualified leads, meetings set, conversion rates)
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and interactions within the CRM
QUALIFICATIONS
• Prospecting skills, cold calling, B2B sales experience
• Ability to multi-task
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work with internal colleagues and customers in a professional team-oriented way
• Strong qualification skills, the ability to actively listen, seek information, ask questions and solve problems
• A passion for working in a fast paced, deadline and goal driven environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
• A drive for results and a motivated spirit
PREFERRED
• 1-2 years’ experience in a sales, business, or entrepreneurial role
• Experience with working with Salesforce or similar CRMs
