Job description

MISSION OF THE POSITION

We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented Product Manager to drive the sales and inventory management of our technology product portfolio within the LATAM region. This role focuses on optimizing inventory rotation, developing sales strategies, and ensuring market availability through effective distribution management. The Product Manager will act as a vital link between the manufacturer, distributor, and sales channels, enhancing product visibility and driving adoption.


Key Responsibilities:


  1. Sales and Product Portfolio Management
  • Oversee the management of high-turnover products in the LATAM region, ensuring alignment with market demand.
  • Develop and execute strategies to optimize product sales, focusing on inventory rotation and stock management.
  • Adapt the portfolio based on regional market insights, customer needs, and competitor analysis.

2.Distributor and Manufacturer Relations

  • Negotiate agreements, pricing, and promotional activities with manufacturers and distributors.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with sales objectives, contractual obligations, and regional sales targets.
  • Foster strong relationships with distributors to maximize product reach and sales performance.

3.Inventory Management

  • Manage inventory levels across all distribution channels, ensuring the right balance between stock availability and turnover.
  • Implement strategies to reduce obsolete stock while ensuring products are available to meet demand.

4.Market Strategy and Sales Development

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive product adoption across the LATAM market.
  • Work closely with manufacturers and distributors to execute sales campaigns that align with market trends.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to ensure that key products are prioritized and achieve sales goals.

5.Analysis and Reporting

  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), such as sales volume, margins, and inventory turnover, to assess product and sales performance.
  • Provide regular reports and insights to manufacturers and senior leadership to inform strategy and decision-making.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify trends, new opportunities, and areas for improvement.


Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commercial Engineering, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in product management or sales within the technology or IT distribution sector, with a focus on managing inventory and driving sales.
  • Proven ability to manage distributor relationships and negotiate agreements.
  • Expertise in inventory management, sales strategy development, and market analysis.


Languages:

  • Advanced Spanish (required for the LATAM region).
  • Advanced English (oral and written) required.
  • Portuguese (desirable) for regional collaboration.


Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of IT solutions (hardware, software, cloud services).
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret sales data and market trends.

Work Schedule:

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
