Job description

About the team
Zillow Rentals is building a best-in-class vertically integrated marketplace that connects renters with property owners and managers to make it easier than ever to move from one home to the next, from large-scale multifamily communities to single family homes. We provide best-in-class advertising solutions for our valued partners with a complete set of digital tools to help them market their properties, identify prospective tenants, sign a lease and collect payments -- delivering a complete end-to-end online experience. This is a high-growth, high-focus area for Zillow - and a chance to make an impact and deliver significant outcomes. Our team is staffed with talented applied scientists, engineers, designers, researchers and product managers, partnering closely with teams across Zillow to deliver highly tailored, trusted experiences for millions of customers.

About the role

This is an exciting new opportunity within the Zillow Rentals team to play a critical role in owning and driving the vision, strategy, and execution of products primarily used by our advertising partners. The role focuses on increasing engagement, enhancing satisfaction, and delivering valuable insights that help partners optimize their property portfolios effectively. You will lead all aspects of the product lifecycle, from strategic vision to widespread adoption, collaborating closely with company leadership, product, engineering, data science, and other teams. This role demands an outstanding blend of product expertise, critical thinking, and exceptional communication skills.

You Will Get To:

  • Develop and implement the roadmap for our Zillow Rentals Ad Manager (ZRAM) product, including self-service flows for onboarding, property management, billing, and more.

  • Build and iterate on self-service analytics tools for property managers and marketing managers, who can make better business decisions from the data visualizations and analytics your team builds.

  • Create a vision for the future of data products for Zillow Rentals, driving cross-functional alignment and building business case(s) for investment if/where appropriate. There may be a lot of potential in this space–thinking big is expected!

  • Apply a data-driven and customer-centric approach to evaluate product success, test new hypotheses, and scale initiatives to achieve partner success and product-market fit.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners across multiple teams including Sales, Training, Marketing, engineering, and Legal to establish and implement go-to-market strategy.

  • Demonstrate critical thinking and outstanding partner engagement in prioritizing initiatives that have the highest impact.

  • Exhibit outstanding time management and interpersonal skills to ensure project alignment across diverse business partners working 100% remotely.

  • Stay up-to-date with rentals industry trends and market dynamics, and use this knowledge for innovation and differentiation.

This role has been categorized as a Remote position. “Remote” employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice, which must be identified to the Company.
