The purpose of this position is to provide proactive support for Financial Professionals and New Business & Underwriting team members by acting as owners of life, health, and annuity new business cases and striving to maximize the number of cases issued and placed. As the primary point of contact for designated Thrivent Advisor Groups (TAGS), this individual will champion key issues related to new business cases using strong communication skills, business knowledge and understanding of New Business & Underwriting goals. Case Managers must cultivate business relationships with Financial Professionals and other members of their team, as well as New Business & Underwriting team members and teams throughout the organization.
Case Managers will also provide just in time training and be champions of change, supporting field members and internal business partners on new technology and corporate changes.
This role requires a deep understanding of what financial professionals need to be successful, in addition to a broad depth of new business issue and underwriting knowledge. Individuals in this role must have the ability to quickly understand and research unusual and complex questions with undefined parameters and produce accurate responses.

Required Job Qualifications
- College Degree or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years of experience within the financial services industry with prior life/health, sales, operations and customer service is preferred.
- A strong performance history with a history of success
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with high level of professionalism
- Effective interpersonal, analytical and negotiation abilities required
- Ability to create and maintain strong and effective business relationships
- Has demonstrated the ability to quickly identify issues and use solid problem-solving skills.

The applicable salary or hourly wage range for this full-time role is $21.40 - $28.95 per hour, which factors in various geographic regions.
