About The Role
Eightfold AI is seeking a highly strategic and experienced
Senior Deal Desk Manager to join our growing Revenue Operations team. As a key individual contributor, you will be a trusted advisor to our sales organization, playing a critical role in maximizing revenue by driving the execution of complex, high-value deals. This role is not about managing a process, but rather about being a strategic deal partner who can influence outcomes, accelerate deal velocity, and increase win rates.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Deal Execution: Partner directly with Account Executives on standard and non-standard deals, providing expert guidance on deal structure, pricing strategy, negotiation tactics, and risk mitigation.
- Sales Enablement: Coach and mentor sales teams on effective deal structuring, pricing best practices, and negotiation strategies. Proactively identify areas for improvement in sales processes related to deal execution.
- Pricing Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of Eightfold's pricing models and licensing agreements. Provide pricing analysis & recommendations, and manage approvals for complex deals.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Legal, Finance, Field Operations, and Product teams to ensure seamless deal execution and compliance.
- Deal Analysis and Reporting: Track and analyze deal trends, identifying opportunities to improve deal structure, pricing, and overall sales effectiveness.
- Business Acumen: Leverage deep understanding of SaaS business models, sales cycles, and customer needs to inform deal strategies and drive revenue growth.
- Process Improvement: Continuously identify and recommend improvements to existing Deal Desk processes and tools, enhancing efficiency and scalability.
Qualifications
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in Deals Desk, Sales Operations, Finance, or a related field, with a strong emphasis on complex deal structuring in a SaaS environment.
- Deal Expertise: Proven track record of successfully structuring and closing large, complex enterprise deals.
- Strategic Thinking: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and develop creative solutions to complex business challenges.
- Sales Partnership: Strong ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with sales teams, influencing and guiding them through complex deal scenarios.
- Business Acumen: In-depth understanding of SaaS business models, sales cycles, pricing strategies, and revenue recognition principles.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
- Negotiation: Strong negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to navigate complex deal discussions and achieve favorable outcomes.
- Systems Proficiency: Experience with Salesforce, Salesforce CPQ, and other relevant sales and revenue operations technologies.

- Please note this role is open to individuals who are based on the East Coast (EST) of the United States only and categorized as remote. The base salary range below is provided for pay transparency. Base pay is only one piece of our total compensation package as this role may be eligible for bonuses and equity awards. Compensation varies depending on a number of factors including qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience. Zones are determined by location.
Zone B: Base Salary: $114,000 to $152,000
