Positionstitel: Product Manager – (Residential Grid-tied inverters, EV Charger, and EMS Solutions)

Location: Remote (NL), Remote (Germany) , Remote (UK)


Your mission


As a Product Manager - (Residential Grid-tied inverters, EV Charger, and EMS Solutions), you have a key role for the development of products from start to finish to ensure they meet the customers’ needs and preferences. You are an integral part of GoodWe’s innovation, determining the overall vision and positioning of products, engaging actively with our Global R&D department, but also with our Sales and Technical Sales departments.

This position rewards with a deep technical involvement and with the joy of being close to the market and to customers.


Your main responsibilities


  • Be the technical and market expert in GoodWe’s portfolio for residential application.
  • Analyze market trends, competitors, and customer feedback to develop product roadmaps and market strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with R&D in HQ, engineering, sales, and marketing teams to ensure product development aligns with market demands and company strategy.
  • Manage product launch in EMEA with all departments involved (Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Technical Sales, Service).
  • Monitor the product mix (4 P’s) for your portfolio over the lifecycle of the product and initiate proactive action where needed.
  • Hold customer training face-to-face and online, create and manage technical and marketing documentation, and represent GoodWe in exhibitions.
  • Support the sales team and customers with technical questions, and in preparing biddings documents and project solutions.


Your Profile


  • A technical background with a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Renewables or similar. Additional education in business administration or marketing is a plus.
  • You are business fluent English. Additional European or Chinese languages are a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years work experience in solar, PV or energy storage industry required.
  • Experience with EMS (Energy Management system) is a strong plus.
  • Ability to work independently and focused in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills. Ability to explain complex topics in easy words.
  • Analytical mindset.
