Job description

As part of the Evident Sales Specialist Team, you will strengthen our holistic sales approach from within the Sales Team and enjoy a challenging and exciting international sales environment.

As Sales Territory Manager (m/f/d) - Material Science Microscopy - South France, you will report to the Regional Sales Manager for Southern Europe and will provide specialized technical support to the commercial structure at both national and international levels, liaising with private and public customers. You will own the full sales cycle, aligning your efforts with the business unit's sales strategy to achieve and exceed targets. This role requires effective management of sales opportunities, relationship building with customers and stakeholders, and the ability to represent the company at industry events.

Tasks

  • Drive direct sales and promotion of the Evident microscopy product portfolio.
  • Take ownership of the entire sales cycle, aligning with the business unit’s strategy.
  • Successfully manage and close sales opportunities to achieve targets.
  • Maintain and accurately manage a robust sales pipeline.
  • Plan strategically to optimize efficiency and customer engagement.
  • Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations tailored to customer needs.
  • Negotiate effectively with senior-level executives, including directors and procurement teams.
  • Collaborate across teams to ensure a unified “One Evident” approach to customer service.
  • Build and sustain strong, positive relationships with customers.
  • Manage relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Represent the organization professionally at exhibitions, workshops, and educational events in line with the business unit’s strategy.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical qualification, or extensive experience in a relevant market area.
  • Strong background in material science, optics, and/or microscopy is highly desirable.
  • Proven experience in direct sales; project management experience is a plus.
  • Highly motivated and capable of thriving in a multicultural environment; willingness to travel as required.
  • Strong customer service orientation with a positive, success-driven attitude.
  • Deep technical understanding and skills relevant to the role.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, with advanced competency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis.
