About The Role

As a VCF Function Consultant at Infinite Ranges, you’ll help our customers unlock the full potential of their VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) environments. You’ll deliver Level 2 support, focusing on migrations, upgrades, and optimizing functionality beyond break/fix scenarios. You’ll collaborate with customers to assess their infrastructure, deliver hands-on support, and craft solution recommendations that take their VMware environment to the next level.

What You Will Be Doing

• Provide 10 hours of L2 support to VMware customers to troubleshoot issues and assist with migration and upgrade work.
• Collaborate with customers to identify and design solutions for leveraging vSAN, NSX, and TKGS.
• Prepare a detailed Statement of Work (SOW) that outlines the scope of the engagement and next steps for further collaboration.
• Create a final recommendations report and a change request, offering insights for customers to improve their VCF environments.
• Work closely with Carahsoft and VMware teams to ensure smooth transition and customer satisfaction.
• Engage in pre-sales discussions to highlight potential areas for additional consulting, helping customers evolve into direct Infinite Ranges clients.
  
  

What We Want To See

• Strong experience with VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) and associated VMware technologies.
• Hands-on experience with vSAN, NSX, and Tanzu Kubernetes Grid Service (TKGS).
• Proven ability to deliver Level 2 support in a virtualized environment.
• A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to identify opportunities for customer success and growth.
• Experience in cloud infrastructure and migration projects, and comfort with troubleshooting complex issues.
• Strong communication skills to manage customer expectations and deliver high-impact results in a remote environment.
