Job Summary
Performs inside and outside sales responsibilities focused on driving usage and adoption of OEC Payments products. Builds strong relationships with dealerships and repair shops, identifying new business opportunities, and executing strategic territory development plans along with strengthening existing customer partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivers on revenue growth targets by expanding usage and adoption of OEC’s Payments products within the automotive space, specifically targeting dealerships and repair shops. Calls and or visits dealerships and shops to engage and educate prospects on OEC’s Payments solutions to meet or exceed revenue growth goals.
- Develops and maintains strong, long-term relationships with key customers, including retailers and repairers, to enhance engagement and ensure satisfaction. Maintains a high level of customer activity, and deeply engages with customers, understanding their business needs and demonstrating how core payment capabilities align with their objectives.
- Identifies new opportunities within assigned territories and executes strategies to grow the business and expand market share. Drives new dealer and shop acquisitions, and revenue in a defined territory to meet /exceed quota.
- Delivers compelling presentations to multiple stakeholders including dealership Accounting and Parts leadership to educate on new processes and help them understand key advantages.
- Provides ongoing support to existing customers, ensuring seamless onboarding, activation, and utilization of Payments products to achieve success in their operations. Works with both dealers and shops to drive transaction volume. Monitors account metrics to proactively identify potential risks, opportunities, and customer satisfaction.
- Takes ownership of assigned regions, developing and executing territory plans to maximize growth opportunities. Monitors account metrics to proactively identify potential risks, opportunities, and customer satisfaction.
- Works closely with internal teams such as Sales, Product and Marketing, to provide voice of customer, suggest customer-centric product enhancements, and ensure success of the Payments products within assigned accounts.
- Tracks sales activities and customer interactions, providing regular updates and insights into performance against goals.
Education
A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is required, with a focus in Sales, Business, or related discipline. In the absence of a degree, equivalent work experience directly related to the key responsibilities of the role will be considered as a substitute for the degree.
Experience
At least 3 years of experience in account management, sales, or business development, with a minimum 2 years of quota-carrying software or technology sales, preferably within the merchant services industry, and demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding revenue growth targets.
Experience in sales/account management in both a farmer and hunter capacity highly desired. Automotive industry experience preferred.

Travel
- Travel for this position is required and anticipated to be up to 20% of work time.
