Product Manager - Lease Servicing

As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for leading key customer servicing focused initiatives from ideation to launch. You will understand and articulate the problems faced by the consumers and collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement solutions.

The Job…

  • Create the long-term and short-term roadmap.
  • Lead requirements definition of prioritized initiatives through partnership with legal & compliance, customer care and collections, sales, finance and other key stakeholders.
  • Work with UX research and design teams to build prototypes and wireframes.
  • Create and manage Epics and Features describing the business needs.
  • Explain the business use cases to product owner and technology teams.
  • Partner with engineering to technical design and develop a solution to the stated business problem.
  • and an associated go to market approach.
  • Perform User Acceptance Testing to ensure a quality production release.
  • Partner with the Care/Collections teams to ensure organizational readiness, operations procedures and customer communications are in place in advance of releases.
  • Dive deep into production and compliance issues to ensure proper resolution and handling.
  • Partner with stakeholders to better understand our customers and develop solutions to increase conversion & completion.
  • Utilize quantitative and qualitative data to make decisions.
  • Become SME of the Customer Servicing and Collection processes.
  • Create and manage the process flow diagrams.
  • Define the metrics and ways to measure the outcome of the features and products.
  • Work with data analytics and technology teams to design experiments evaluating different options.
  • Partner with marketing team for GTM strategy and launch.

  • Have prior experience in lease, lending or BNPL businesses, preferably serving sub-prime customer segment
  • Knowledge of processes and systems involved with payments and collections
  • Basic understanding of accounting
  • Proven product management skills from ideation to launch
  • Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to simultaneously handle multiple initiatives in different phases
  • Manage the shifting priorities and trade-offs with initiatives
  • Breakdown the larger products or initiatives into smaller components and define MVP
  • Build relationship with stakeholders
  • Hands on with product development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum)
  • Familiarity with project management and collaboration tools (e.g., JIRA)
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Continuous learning mindset and adaptability to change
  • Drive teams to be problem solving oriented and leverage research / design thinking to drive the solution
  • Get stuff done attitude

Preferred Skills

The following additional skills would be favorable and contribute to the company as well as the position’s overall success:

  • Proficiency or willingness to learn in data analysis tools and techniques (e.g., SQL, Excel, Python)
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business
