Job Title: Remote Ecommerce General Manager (100% Work From Home)

Location: Remote from Latin America

Position Type: Full-time

Salary: $4,000 - 5,000 USD/month depending on experience paid via wire transfer

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm Eastern Time zone

Job Overview:

Our client's ecommerce business is a fast growing, industry leading nutraceutical product company. Operating remotely, they strive to combine exceptional customer experiences, and standout products across sales and marketing channels. We’re seeking a dynamic General Manager to lead our client's operations, drive growth, and ensure operational excellence in a remote-first work environment.

The General Manager will oversee all aspects of our ecommerce operations, including strategy development, team leadership, financial performance, and operational efficiency. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in ecommerce, remote team management, and growth-oriented leadership.


Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership:
  • Develop and implement a long-term strategy for business growth, profitability, and market leadership.
  • Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitive dynamics to identify opportunities and challenges.
  • Operational Management:
  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring all departments (marketing, sales, customer service, logistics) meet performance standards.
  • Optimize supply chain, inventory, and fulfillment processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Implement best practices for remote team collaboration and productivity.
  • Financial Oversight:
  • Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting to ensure profitability.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and revenue growth strategies.
  • Team Leadership:
  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing, diverse remote team.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and collaborative company culture.
  • Establish clear goals and performance metrics for all team members.
  • Customer Experience:
  • Champion a customer-first approach across all business functions.
  • Continuously improve the online shopping experience through UX enhancements, streamlined processes, and responsive customer support.
  • Technology and Innovation:
  • Stay updated on ecommerce technologies and trends to ensure the platform remains competitive.
  • Work closely with the tech team to implement necessary upgrades and innovations.
  • Compliance and Risk Management:
  • Ensure compliance with local and international ecommerce regulations.
  • Mitigate risks related to data privacy, cybersecurity, and operational processes.


Qualifications, Skills and Key Competencies:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
  • 3+ years of experience in ecommerce management or a related role.
  • Proven track record in growing online businesses and leading remote teams.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, SEO, and ecommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify).
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Outstanding leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Knowledge of global markets and cross-border ecommerce is a plus.
