Join Concentrix as a SDET
Role Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Test Automation Engineer (SDET) to join our Resort Application Development Team. This team is responsible for developing a suite of custom desktop applications, modern web apps, and internal APIs for ski resort management and point-of-sale functionality. We use C# and the .NET Framework for development, Angular for web apps, WPF for desktop applications, and SQL Server as our database platform. Our internal API is a RESTful WebAPI service layer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts across the application portfolio
- Collaborate with the team to design and integrate test automation into the continuous integration and delivery pipeline
- Troubleshoot, determine root cause, and resolve issues with test automation code
- Own test automation solution designs and architectural decisions
- Develop clear and concise test strategies and plans, balancing test automation and manual testing
- Demonstrate thorough understanding of application functionality and contribute to delivering quality assurance solutions
- Work closely with business analysts, developers, QA, and product owners to enhance test automation and its value
- Champion test automation methodologies, identifying opportunities to improve the framework.
Requirements:
- B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum 5 years of application development experience in C#
- Minimum 3 years of test automation experience
- Experience with SQL Server (minimum 3 years)
- Experience with writing and executing automated tests in a C#/.NET environment (minimum 2 years)
- Experience in building and maintaining CI/CD with test automation frameworks (minimum 2 years)
- Development experience with RESTful APIs (minimum 2 years)
- Minimum 1 year of experience with SpecFlow
- Strong experience within the Agile (Scrum) framework (minimum 2 years)
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
Preferred Experience:
- Git for source control
- Atlassian Jira & Confluence
- Point of Sale/Transaction processing
- Ski resort or hospitality experience
- Performance testing
