Job Description Summary
Senior Sales FLIGHT DECK (Lean) Leader is responsible for transforming GEs results through the application of GEs lean principles and systematic approach. This role will also work closely as a partner with the FLIGHT DECK (Lean) Leader Sales and Marketing, business, and functions to implement data and analytics tools to provide meaningful business insights in support of strategic and operational business plans. The primary responsibility of this position is to optimize the data and analytics in key identified Value Streams to drive impact, while helping develop lean proficiency among the team to improve processes within the Sales and Marketing function.

Key Responsibilities:
- The Senior Sales FLIGHT DECK Leader will serve as a leader, facilitator, educator, advocate, consultant and accountability partner to the Sales and Marketing team to drive the understanding and application of data analytics and tools. While many have been trained in Lean tools and have participated in kaizen weeks, GE is in the early stages of applying lean as a business system and operating enabler.
- Collaborate with the FLIGHT DECK Leader Sales and Marketing, and team to assess the use of data and analytics in GEs Sales and Marketing value streams, processes and practices as compared to industry benchmarks, both internal and external. Establish a transformation plan based on the prioritized gaps, developing new process capability through the application of lean practices and/or the execution of kaizen events.
- Design and build organizational data and analytics capacity to coach senior leaders while transforming the key value streams.
- Partner with Sales and Marketing Leaders to prioritize and solve problems based on identified key KPI and Business needs through the application of data, analytics and lean.
- Work with the FLIGHT DECK Leader Sales and Marketing to execute kaizen event rhythm within Sales and Marketing and leverage that activity to develop lean proficiency for all employees; creating internal capabilities to facilitate kaizens and sustain continuous process improvement without external support.
- Partner with the Lean business operations team and business Lean leader to quickly deploy new, best-practice capability and process within the function across GE. Key contributor to the development and implementation of the lean-based management system.
- Serve as the CES Interface to DT for Master Data, providing technical support, evaluation, and leadership for Business Process Modelling.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree accredited college or university
- Minimum of 5 years of lean transactional experience
- Must be able to travel up to 25%.
