What you will do, depending on your role:
Developer:
- Develop customizations using X++, .NET, and APIs.
- Optimize and debug code, ensuring adherence to best practices.
- Build integrations and manage data entities, workflows, and reports.
Architect:
- Design scalable and secure solutions aligned with business needs.
- Define system integrations, performance optimization, and governance standards.
- Document system architecture and oversee implementation.
Support:
- Resolve incidents, manage system maintenance, and provide user support.
- Monitor system performance and ensure data consistency.
- Handle deployments, updates, and training materials.
Common Across Roles:
- Collaborate with teams, document processes, and stay updated on D365 FO advancements.
What you should know/have to succeed in this role:
Developer:
- Proficiency in X++, .NET, and SQL.
- Experience with D365 FO customizations, workflows, and APIs.
- Strong debugging and performance optimization skills.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
Architect:
- Deep knowledge of D365 FO architecture and modules.
- Experience in designing scalable, secure, and integrated solutions.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, performance tuning, and cloud platforms (e.g., Azure).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Support:
- Knowledge of D365 FO functionality and troubleshooting.
- Experience with incident management tools (e.g., ServiceNow).
- Strong understanding of system monitoring and maintenance.
- Ability to create user guides and deliver training.
