The Opportunity:

As a Scrum Master, you will be the bridge between Business and Engineering by working with tech, product, and operations teams to deliver new features to market that impact millions of patients, clinicians, and healthcare staff every day. Alongside respective Tech and Product leaders, you will create a Delivery Roadmap and manage all aspects of the agile product development life cycle by guiding sprint teams through prioritization, removing barriers, and escalating risks. You will be empowered and expected to define the way of driving your assigned programs and constantly finding ways of improving this process in a data driven manner.

Essential Job Functions:

  • General project management – prepare project timelines, define milestones, track and report progress, resolve impediments
  • Oversee and champion day-to-day adherence to agile product development best practices
  • Manage scope and timelines to ensure on-time, high-quality, and high-value product delivery
  • Support the definition, documentation, and improvement of cross-functional processes for our growing team.
  • Work with product managers to handle backlog prioritization and new requests
  • Employ effective techniques of managing the product backlog
  • Facilitate the removal of impediments to the team’s progress
  • Monitor and report on sprint progress and identify ways to continually improve
  • Establish and monitor team-based metrics to guide improvement opportunities
  • Ensure that the product backlog is transparent, accessible, and understandable
  • Coordinate sprints, retrospective meetings, and daily stand-ups
  • Ensure deliverables are up to quality standards at the end of each sprint
  • Establish best practices for release cycle management and help teams implement changes effectively through internal communication, and external communication including release notes.


Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of relatable experience
  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience working with Agile product development teams and shipping products with condensed timeframes
  • Excellent knowledge of scrum techniques and artifacts (such as user stories, automated testing, backlog refinement)
  • Expert knowledge of the end-to-end iterative development life cycle
  • Excellent communication and coaching skills
  • Demonstrated analytical thinking, problem-solving and conflict-resolution ability.
  • Outstanding organizational skills
  • Proven ability to clearly and effectively communicate business and technical information, and effectively mediate in situations where conflict arises; understanding of how and when to escalate issues to the appropriate levels within the organization
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Experience using Jira
  • Demonstrated understanding of project management processes, strategies, and methods
  • Ability to hold self and others accountable
  • Experience working in a collaborative environment and promoting a teamwork mentality
  • Ability to predict challenges and proactively head-off obstacles
  • Experience in healthcare technology or EMR system integrations, a plus
  • Scrum master certification is a plus

  • This position pays between $91,400 - $175,200 based on experience
