Job description

WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH

The Jordan sales team is new and dynamic and ready for the next great phase of growth with our wholesale partners.  As we grow the business, we need to bring a senior leader to lead the Jordan wholesale team to the next level. Jordan Sales works in strong collaboration with functions such as Merchandising, Marketing, Planning and Finance.  It also must navigate the Nike Matrix and collaborate with the Nike teams to get work done. Finally, this leader will create and nurture great relationships with our strategic partners.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

The candidate needs to have a strong sales background with a facility to build and maintain relationships internally and externally.We are looking for someone that will lead and execute the vision of the Jordan wholesale business, manage the team, deliver sales targets, and take the business to the next level. The top skills we are looking for in this position are:

WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON

The main accountabilities:

  • Manage and drive the whls marketplace strategy & business for the Jordan Brand.

  • Lead with a consumer centric, data informed approach to know our consumers & their preferences.

  • Define & deliver the specific athlete* experiences within the marketplace.

  • Determine the whls marketplace potential with clear focus on sustainable & profitable growth.

  • Drive the day-to-day owned operations with partnership of other Jordan functions & Nike functions.

  • Partner with the Nike to drive the future whls Jordan marketplace.

The sales wholesale Sr. Director will also:

  • Decide the wholesale marketplace strategy for the Jordan Brand.

  • Determine which specific channels, doors (within our accounts) should have access to which products and services.

  • Determine the retail sales potential with clear focus on sustainable & profitable growth.

  • Create the day-to-day operations of the marketplace team in collaboration of the other functions & Nike marketplace.

  • Lead, drive and Inspire the team.
