Job Summary:
The Structured Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the various debt and equity closings within IGS’ Solar division. A primary focus of this role will be leading the securitization process of asset-backed securities (ABS) for Residential Solar leases. This involves managing the end-to-end process of structuring, packaging, and managing ABS products for IGS and its investors. The Structured Finance Manager will lead a Senior Project Finance Analyst, and collaborates with internal teams, external stakeholders, and investment banks to ensure successful execution of debt (securitization) and equity transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
Transaction Management:
Manage the entire securitization process, from deal structuring to closing and post-closing activities.
Oversee closings for tax and cash equity transactions, managing diligence requests, collaboration with outside counsel and providing analysis for senior leadership to make decisions on material deal points
Coordinate with internal teams, including legal, risk management, finance, and operations, to ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies.
Collaborate with investment banks and external service providers to facilitate the securitization process.
Team Leadership and Cross Function Integration:
Lead and mentor one experienced direct report, with potential for team expansion as the business continues to scale.
Assist Fund Management team in transitioning transactions from closing to operating, sharing guidance on modeling, reporting and other areas as needed.
Structuring and Packaging:
Alongside finance leadership, develop and implement optimal structures for securitization transactions, considering market conditions, investor preferences, and regulatory requirements.
Analyze underlying asset pools to determine appropriate collateral composition and risk characteristics.
Collaborate with credit rating agencies to obtain credit ratings for the ABS products.
Investor Relations:
In conjunction with capital markets team, engage with potential investors to market ABS products, maintain data rooms, and address inquiries, providing necessary information.
Develop relationships with institutional investors, credit funds, and other market participants to expand the investor base.
Stay updated on market trends and investor preferences to ensure the competitiveness of ABS offerings.
Risk Management:
Assess and mitigate risks associated with ABS transactions, including credit, interest rate, liquidity, and market risks.
Develop risk management strategies and contingency plans to address potential issues during the securitization process.
Monitor the performance of securitized assets and take appropriate actions to manage any emerging risks.
Documentation and Compliance:
Work with internal and external counsel to prepare and review legal documentation, including offering memoranda, prospectuses, and transaction agreements.
Collaborate with accounting and finance teams to ensure compliance with relevant regulatory frameworks, such as securitization regulations and accounting standards.
Coordinate with legal and compliance teams to address any regulatory or legal issues during the securitization process.
Required Skills:
Strong understanding of securitization techniques, structures, and market dynamics.
Solid knowledge of financial markets, credit analysis, risk management, and regulatory requirements related to securitization.
General comprehension of tax equity partnership flip structures
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and models.
Interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including C-suite leadership.
Willingness to get into the most detailed level to solve issues that arise.
Ability to manage complex projects and work under tight deadlines.
Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools, particularly Microsoft Excel
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business administration, or a related field. A master's degree or CFA qualification is desirable.
Proven 5-7 years’ experience in asset-backed securitization or structured finance, preferably within a financial institution or investment bank.
While this is a remote opportunity, occasional travel to IGS’ home office in Dublin, OH will be required (<10%); potential travel to Investor site locations or conferences may be required on an ad hoc basis.

Salary Range:
$108,950.00 - $174,320.00
*This range reflects base pay only. Incentive earnings, like commissions or bonuses, are not included.
This role is also eligible for an annual incentive plan based on company performance.
