About the Role

We’re looking for a motivated Expansion Sales Manager to lead and inspire a team of Expansion Specialists. Our focus isn’t about pushing customers to spend more—it’s about empowering them to earn more by adopting additional Utility Profit features. This role is instrumental in driving product adoption and increasing revenue-sharing opportunities for our property manager (PM) partners.

Utility Profit is transforming the property management industry by streamlining tenant move-ins with utility setups and helping property managers generate additional revenue through our innovative solutions. Your team will connect with PM customers, demonstrate how these tools enhance their operations, and relay valuable feedback to continuously improve the product.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Development

  • First figure out the strategy and sales process yourself.

  • Recruit, manage, and coach a team of Expansion Specialists, ensuring they are equipped to drive adoption of new Utility Profit features.

  • Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture focused on empowering customers to maximize revenue-share opportunities.

  • Monitor and analyze team performance, providing regular feedback and ensuring alignment with company goals.

Customer-Centric Product Expansion

  • Develop and execute strategies to introduce new features to existing PM customers, demonstrating how these tools save time and increase profitability.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align messaging, ensure seamless onboarding, and deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Customer Insights & Reporting

  • Establish a feedback loop where Expansion Specialists consistently capture and relay customer insights.

  • Analyze feedback to identify common themes, challenges, and opportunities to improve the product.

  • Act as a bridge between the customer and product teams, ensuring the customer voice drives continuous improvement.

Operational Excellence

  • Oversee customer outreach efforts, including email campaigns, strategic calls, and presentations.

  • Ensure CRM tools are updated with accurate data to track progress and opportunities effectively.

  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to tailor campaigns and collateral that resonate with customer needs.
