Overview
This position reports to the Associate Director, IT G&A. The Manager, IT ERP Finance and Supply Chain is a “hands on” manager role that will act as both the technical and operational lead for Oracle NetSuite ERP IT application utilized by Iovance Biotherapeutics in the Financial and Supply Chain areas.
The role must require the individual to be a strong techno-functional lead and a subject matter expert with Oracle NetSuite managing the following three areas: (a) Financial: Average Costing using Manufacturing Cost Templates, (b) Technical: SFTP integrations (c) Supply Chain: Procure to Pay [PTP] and Order to Cash [OTC] operations. The role also requires the desire to proactively improve the business (customer) experience with IT applications. The individual should take the initiative to talk to business stakeholders to understand challenges and works to find solutions.
The cell therapy industry requires an IT individual to be sensitive to the unique demands business stakeholders place on IT teams and applications to facilitate faster turnaround times for changes whilst adhering to the key application controls and SDLC review mechanisms. Business stakeholder interaction, collaboration, expectation management and requirement understanding acumen will be key to succeed in this role along with the Oracle NetSuite expertise. The individual will also manage the Oracle NetSuite offshore IT support team for Iovance and improve change management, release management and day-to-day support in adherence to SOX.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- The role will also require the individual to develop and grow their understanding of Iovance’s Oracle NetSuite (ERP) application and its integration with Iovance’s Manufacturing Execution System and troubleshoot issues and oversee global NetSuite ERP IT support operations.
- Perform role of IT application owner for Oracle NetSuite financial ERP application, leading support, change management, release management, projects and ITGC SOX reviews to continue and grow the ERP footprint at Iovance across Financial and Supply Chain areas.
- This role will also require the individual to quickly grasp and improve the Oracle NetSuite SuiteApprovals functionality for Purchase orders and Vendor bills, standardize Manufacturing Cost templates for Work Orders, Cost Accounting using Average Costing to support Finance and Supply Chain business functions to support Iovance Financial and Supply Chain day-to-day operations.
- Assist team with operational activities (e.g. end-user support, break-fix). This includes proactive monitoring rather than reactive triaging, troubleshooting to issue resolution and creating/revising/maintaining knowledge articles and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for performing application improvements.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical business processes, Part 11 data integrity, infrastructure, architecture, and technology to support business supporting manufacturing.
- Partner with business teams, learn business processes and drive continuous improvement initiatives to provide operational efficiencies and cost reductions.

Travel
- Minimal travel requirements (less than 10%)
Required Education, Skills, and Knowledge
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science or Engineering
Preferred Education, Skills, and Knowledge
- At least 8 years of IT experience with an ERP application such as Oracle NetSuite.
- At least 4 years of hands-on experience and exposure working in biotech/pharma information technology. Experience with cell and gene therapy is a plus.
- Extensive experience in managing and troubleshooting Oracle NetSuite ERP – Financial, SFTP, and Supply Chain modules.
- Extensive experience in managing vendors and offshore teams.
- Strong interpersonal, presentation and communication skills.
- Experience managing portfolio of applications, and budget to achieve cost efficiency is key.
- Experience working in FDA regulated industry and familiarity with CFR 21 Part 11, cGMP will be a plus
