Development Operations/Cloud Systems Administrator (m/f/d)

bwise Media is a global sports media agency, specialized in the monetization of sports websites and apps and furthermore specialized in managing advertising sales to sports betting operators. We are a dynamic and fast-growing player in the iGaming industry, committed to delivering top-tier digital marketing solutions to clients around the world. 

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement and manage cloud-based infrastructure for our platforms
• Automate deployment pipelines and CI/CD workflows to streamline software delivery
• Monitor, troubleshoot and optimize system performance, ensuring uptime and reliability
• Implement security practices, including IAM policies, encryption and compliance with data protection regulations
• Maintain and improve our containerization strategy
• Collaborate with development and data teams to improve infrastructure scalability and efficiency
• Perform regular system updates, backups and disaster recovery planning to ensure everything stays on track
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Development Operation practices, cloud technologies and industry trends

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Cloud Systems Administrator or similar role
• Proven experience working with AWS services and infrastructure, with the ability to design and manage scalable cloud solutions.
• Familiarity with Hetzner servers is a plus
• Expertise in cloud platforms and strong knowledge of system administration
• Hands-on experience with containerization technologies
• Expertise in CI/CD pipelines and monitoring tools
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficient in English; additional language skills are a plus
• Ideally Naples based
