About the Role

The PHP Developer will join a dynamic and multicultural team, reporting directly to the Lead PHP Developer based in Australia. In this role, the developer will collaborate closely with team members across different time zones, including those in Australia and the United States, to deliver top-tier digital experiences for clients.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement features on Drupal CMS, Laravel, and WordPress.
  • Establish website architecture for high performance and availability.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers for effective implementations.
  • Maintain technical aspects of the CMS.
  • Write and debug PHP code and integrate third-party APIs.
  • Ensure SEO compliance and accessibility standards.
  • Participate in Agile web development and communicate technical ideas clearly.


Experience & Software

Essential Skills

  • Solid PHP experience with Drupal or comparable PHP-based CMS.
  • Proficient in AJAX, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
  • Familiar with Git and able to set up version control environments.
  • Strong understanding of MySQL and database modeling.
  • Experience integrating third-party APIs and Agile web development.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience with Drupal 7 and/or 8 configuration.
  • Familiarity with existing Drupal modules (e.g., CTools, Views).
  • Proficient in creating custom Drupal modules and managing responsive websites.
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices and web server configuration settings.
  • Familiarity with Atlassian products like Bamboo, BitBucket, Confluence, and JIRA.
