Job description

This is a remote position.

Job Title: Patient Services Coordinator

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST (with flexibility as needed)

About the Role:
We are a mental health clinic dedicated to providing exceptional care for individuals seeking addiction medicine and mental health services. As a Patient Services Coordinator, you will be the first point of contact for all callers, ensuring excellent service and efficient handling of inquiries.

Responsibilities:
  • Answer and manage calls promptly and professionally.
  • Categorize and route calls (e.g., patient inquiries, media, regulatory bodies, vendors).
  • Provide information about clinic services, insurance options, and intake procedures.
  • Collect and document patient details for follow-up, including contact information and communication preferences.
  • Assist patients with next steps, such as scheduling appointments or open house visits.
  • Escalate urgent or specialized inquiries to the appropriate contacts.


Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent; experience in healthcare or customer service preferred.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
  • Proficient in basic computer applications.
