The position is based in Kuwait and will report directly to the Regional Manager. As a Sales Manager, you will be required to achieve agreed sales/productivity/performance & targets and grow market shares for defined products in Kuwait.


Your Responsibilities will be:


  • Develop the market share of products and work on business development opportunities by analyzing and cross-checking competitors’ activity in Kuwait.
  • Evaluate the potential and develop strategies to realize the potential of the key accounts and tender business to find opportunities for growth.
  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis of markets in terms of potential size and share for the product and set an insight-based business plan and lead the execution in alignment with cross-functional teams.
  • Ensure achievement of sales targets, local market targets, profitability, and market share and monitoring of inventory through proper supply chain management in alignment with the local distributors in both markets.
  • Align with the marketing team to conduct and participate in the local and international conferences/presentations, CMEs for the HCPs as per Acino’s SOP and strategic plan.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including physicians, pharmacists, and hospital staff.
  • Train and manage a team of Product Specialists to ensure they are knowledgeable about products and territory objectives and coach, develop, improve the field force effectiveness through setting market specific KPIs and motivate the field force to achieve them.
  • Assign territory per Product Specialist for achieving sales targets.
  • Monitor the team performance and provide regular feedback to maximize results.
  • Understand the competitive landscape and develop strategies to effectively compete in Kuwait.


Your Profile:


  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or related fields.
  • Previous experience in a similar position.
  • Relevant experience in Trade and Tender Business in both markets is preferable.
  • Ability to combine strategic vision with tactical hand-on execution and a high work capacity.
  • Outstanding leadership ability, including ability to motivate employees with different backgrounds and skill levels.
  • Stakeholders focused, strong networking is preferable.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with healthcare professionals and build lasting relationships.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
  • Ethical mindset and commitment to complying with industry regulations and company policies.
