Job role

The Procurement Reporting Expert plays a key role for the monitoring of strategic procurement activities. This role covers especially data analysis, creation and maintenance of the reporting framework and active assessment and improvement of the data quality.

 

What you will do
• Maintenance of current reporting framework (Procurement Dashboard and Spend Visibility)
• Improvement and update of current reporting framework
• Monitoring Procurement data quality, cleaning data, fixing issues that may arise, and implementing data quality improvement plans
• Procurement Data quality process improvement
• Engagement of the buyer community for data review and support of reporting related topic
• Preparation of material for periodic assessments of the data (weekly/monthly)
• Creation of ad-hoc report for other functions and for managers
• Act as knowledge owner for the transformation program, defining business requirements and working closely with developers to improve tooling landscape
• Develop and document process and training material
• Ensure financial reporting and manage the annual budgeting process, working closely with department heads to develop, monitor, and analyse budgets
• Provide analysis and recommend corrective actions as needed
• Helping co-workers to use data as a competitive advantage and making them data literate

 

What you bring
• Bachelor's degree in statistics, information management, business administration or similar.
• General knowledge and understanding of procurement and project management fundamentals
• General knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and budgeting processes
• At least 5 years of working experience in data analysis and/or Procurement
• Excellent knowledge of SAP Ariba Source-to-Contract
• Strong IT skills, proficient MS Excel
• Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills
• Creative mindset – and the ability to approach a problem creatively
