Job description

Are you ready to help build and operate a DNS resolution service for 100 million users?

If the thought of this ambitious goal excites rather than intimidates you, then we want you on our team!

⭐How are we going to achieve this?

A Whalebone-led consortium was awarded an EU-commision funded project for building a pan-european DNS infrastructure in order to improve the Internet experience and help secure EU citizens. The plan is to onboard 100 Million everyday people by offering a cloud-based environment while at the same time cooperating with local service providers in order to bring the service as close to the users as possible and ensure the best possible user experience. Are you up for the challenge? We’re looking for a seasoned and innovative Site Reliability Engineer for DNS4EU to help shape and implement this ambitious project.

30% Configure and maintain the DNS4EU cloud locations - understand their specifics, propose changes and improvements to enhance user experience and reachability
30% Troubleshoot problems - monitor the service availability, proactively identify issues, improve the tooling and operations
30% identify new cooperation opportunities. Collaborate with our Development, Product and Threat Intelligence teams as well as industry experts on DNS.
