Job description

 

Be a key driver for service-level excellence at our Intrepid DMC in China!  
 
As a Sales Manager, you’ll impress direct customers with amazing destination options and achieve excellent quote-to-purchase conversion rates. 
You’ll manage a high-performing Sales team focused on every aspect of the customer experience. From follow-through to securing the sale, the team is responsible for a seamless booking-to-departure process. With your guidance, your team will excel at building customer-centric itineraries, both proactively and on request, while selling bookings for group and tailored FIT trips. You’ll also lead them to achieve sales targets and provide exceptional customer service during consultations. 
 

In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to manage your own portfolio of valued clients, overseeing their trips. Ultimately, your ability to build trusting relationships will secure customers for repeat trips across our global DMCs! 

  

This is a full-time contract position of 2 years, based in our Beijing office, requiring some flexibility in work hours due to the operational nature of the role. To provide the best experience for our people, this role would operate in our office with the opportunity to work from home occasionally.      

 

Some of the experience you’ll bring with you may include: 

  • Previous supervisory experience, including leading a team to sales success through coaching and training. 

  • Significant travel industry/ sales experience, ideally with developing adventure travel products. 

  • Proven track record in managing and reporting on sales targets for a team of direct reports 

  • Strong destination/ regional and local travel knowledge 

  • Fluent English communication skills #LI-DNI
