Your Role
The Sales Engineer is a professional sales position, based remotely, responsible for growing, managing and servicing surface treatment customers in General Industry.
Provides input to Manager on customer needs, business trends, competitive situations in territory.
Executes pricing actions Coordinates with application engineering to conduct line trials / (re)solve customer requests and complaints.
Delivers KP OSG and PC % in territory / at defined accounts.
Executes local sales plans (short, mid, long term) in line with SBU strategy to maintain and develop existing / acquire new customers.
Builds and maintains relationships with customers and distributors.
YOUR SKILLS
BS/BA in Business, Chemistry, Engineering or related area or equivalent combination of education and experience.
5 + years of relevant technical sales, strategic account responsibility, laboratory or manufacturing experience (preferably in metal finishing) and a progressive record of self-starting results.
Ability to travel regionally, up to 50%, depending on location of home-based office.
Preference for someone residing in the Atlanta, GA area.
Excellent communication, collaboration and relationship building skills.
Strong disciplined self-starter willing to continue learning while developing the pipeline in the territory and maintaining existing customers.
The salary for this role is $85,000.00 - $125,000.00. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
