Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Remote Event Support Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing remote assistance to support event planning, execution, and client outreach efforts. This role requires exceptional communication skills, creativity, and the ability to work independently while ensuring all aspects of the event align with our clients' vision and objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Provide remote support by making calls and reaching out to potential customers, clients, and guests.
  • Develop and manage event plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful execution of events.
  • Coordinate logistics for events, including communicating with vendors, suppliers, and venues to finalize details.
  • Collaborate with the on-site event coordinator to ensure seamless event execution.
  • Implement event marketing strategies to promote events effectively and increase attendance.
  • Assist in fundraising efforts by identifying potential sponsors and managing donor relations.
  • Provide excellent customer service to clients and attendees before, during, and after events.
  • Conduct post-event evaluations to assess success and gather feedback for future improvements.

Experience

  • Proven experience in event management, coordination, or customer support is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines effectively.
  • Familiarity with budgeting processes and financial management related to events.
  • Knowledge of event marketing strategies and fundraising techniques is desirable.
  • Ability to upsell services or packages to enhance client satisfaction.
  • Willingness to make and receive calls to and from U.S. customers.
  • Proficient in remote communication tools such as Ring Central (or other softphones), Slack,Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and CRM software.
  • Proficient in project management tools such as Trello, Asana, Jira, etc.
