AI Platform Engineer (Azure)

We are seeking a dedicated platform engineer to support the GEN AI Platform. The GenAI Platform, is a dedicated infrastructure for Generative AI projects and products, supporting development and exploration through Proof of Concepts (PoCs), demos, and use cases. It includes three primary products:

• GenAI Lounge: Focused on developers and exploration, it is the mandatory platform for all Generative AI usage in the organization. It provides a robust environment for experimentation and innovation.
• GenAI Accelerate: Geared towards use cases, this suite of microservices offers functionalities like completions, embeddings, and file storage. It promotes reusability, scalability, and standardization, meeting specific requirements for incorporating Generative AI into practical applications.
• GenAI Use Cases: Encompasses various projects and use cases, GenAI Platform oversees their infrastructure and operations ensuring good performance and availability.
  
  

Your role

As an AI Platform Engineer, your main responsibilities will include:

• Enhance and maintain the Cloud GenAI platform (AWS & Azure), implement new Cloud Solutions, designing the infrastructure, creating and operating it
• Provide support to the different UseCases and Solutions deployed in the Cloud (AWS & Azure)
• Work closely with the Data Science & ML Engineering team in developing machine learning models and data science solutions
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for data-driven insights
• Clean, process, and analyze data to prepare it for use in machine learning models
• Automation, devOps, observability and MLOPS
• Deploy models into production systems and monitor their performance
• Contribute to the development of new data science and machine learning solutions
• Present results and insights to stakeholders through presentations and reports
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in data science and machine learning
  
  

Your Skills And Experience

As an AI Platform Engineer, your skills and experience will ideally include:

• 3+ years’ experience in Azure cloud engineering or AWS (Mix of both preferred)
• Preferred previous experience working with AI Platforms built on AWS or Azure.
• Have a code-first/automate-everything attitude
• Experience of managing and setting up public/private cloud technologies on Azure in a large-scale enterprise environment.
• Relevant degree or diploma programme of study.
• Preferred experience with Terraform
• Preferred experience writing code in at least one of the following languages: Java, .NET, Node.js, PHP, Python, Ruby, PowerShell, Go(lang), Rust. Python is preferred
• Experience of working to DevOps principles and in an Agile environment.
• Familiarity with the Git or Devops version control platforms.
• Troubleshooting experience in virtual/ cloud infrastructures
• Proven experience of working within supplier-led service delivery models
• Basic understanding or experience in MLOps.
• Preferred previous experience working with Azure Cognitive Services or AWS SageMaker
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
