Job Title: Remote Operations Coordinator/Luxury Travel Planner (100% Work From Home)

Location: Remote from Latin America

Position Type: Full-time

Salary: $1,200 USD monthly

Schedule: 9:00am - 5:30pm EST - May work on weekends, Flexible Schedule

Job Overview:

In this dynamic role, you'll be the architect of their clients' dream vacations, from initial consultations to meticulously planned itineraries. You'll leverage your travel expertise, exceptional communication skills, and organizational prowess to ensure seamless travel arrangements, exceptional customer service, and satisfied clients. Responsibilities:

  • Client Consultation: (Only when needed)
  • Meeting with clients to understand their travel needs, preferences, and budget.
  • Providing advice on destinations, travel options, and travel-related services.
  • Travel Planning and Booking:
  • Researching and booking flights, accommodations, transportation, and other travel services.
  • Creating detailed itineraries that include all necessary travel arrangements.
  • Ensuring all bookings and reservations are confirmed and documented.
  • Customer Service:
  • Providing support to clients before, during, and after their trips.
  • Addressing and resolving any travel-related issues or emergencies.
  • Offering recommendations and tips for travel safety and enjoyment.
  • Vendor Relations:
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with airlines, hotels, car rental companies, and other travel service providers.
  • Negotiating rates and terms with vendors to secure the best deals for clients.
  • Administrative Tasks:
  • Managing travel documentation such as visas, passports, and travel insurance.
  • Handling payments, invoices, and refunds.
  • Keeping accurate records of bookings and client interactions.
  • Marketing and Sales:
  • Promoting travel packages and services to potential clients.
  • Meeting sales targets and generating new business.
  • Staying updated on travel trends and industry developments.
  • Problem-Solving:
  • Managing changes to travel plans, such as cancellations, delays, or rebookings.
  • Coordinating with vendors and clients to resolve issues promptly and efficiently.

Qualifications, Skills, and Key Competencies:

  • Educational Background:
  • A high school diploma is typically required; a bachelor’s degree in travel and tourism, hospitality, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience:
  • Previous experience in travel planning, customer service, or a related field is highly desirable.
  • Organizational Skills:
  • Strong ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Attention to detail in planning and booking travel arrangements.
  • Communication Skills:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to clearly convey information and respond to client inquiries.
