Iris Telehealth is seeking an adult Psychiatrist, licensed in California, to provide care to patients of 18+ in a outpatient setting for 32 hours a week. This 100% remote role offers the opportunity to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team at one of Iris’s behavioral healthcare partners, expanding access to quality care. You'll work with experts in psychiatry, neurology, and psychology, supported by a robust administrative team, allowing you to focus on patient care.

About the Role:

• Setting: 100% Remote - Outpatient Community Mental Health Center in California
• Schedule: 32 hours per week, flexible within Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–5:30 p.m. PST
• Patient Population: Ages 18+ with moderate to high acuity and primarily diagnosis of anxiety, depression, schizophrenia, schizoaffective, co-occurring substance use disorder.
• Appointments: 90 minutes for initial visits, 30 minutes for follow-ups. 60 minutes admin. time
• Support: Robust wrap-around services. On-site nursing staff provides front-line support to patients who come into clinic to receive telehealth.
• Work-Life Balance: No on-call duties required!

Qualifications:

• Completion of a 4-year ACGME Residency Program in Psychiatry.
• Active medical license in California required
• Availability for 32 hours per week, with the ability to work during PST hours.
• Experience with treating adults 18+ and managing high acuity cases.
• Telehealth experience, with knowledge of MyAvatar as a plus.
• Reside in the U.S. or a U.S. territory.
