The Business Development Manager will be directly responsible for acquiring new clients in the auto and flat glass repair and replacement spaces. The selected candidate will also collaborate and assist with directing the business development activities of the individually owned and operated Glass Doctor franchise locations and sharing best practices. The position will implement the sales initiative strategy for Glass Doctor in support of the goals, policies, and objectives established by the President.

Primary Responsibilities:

· Maximize existing account sales volume and develop new accounts within the auto and flat glass repair and replacement industry.

· Meet and network with insurance industry contacts to increase job allocations.

· Identify and solicit fleet accounts and flat glass accounts.

· Facilitate sharing best practices among franchise locations to increase account work within their business.

· Develop and implement sales training for Franchise Owners and Outside Sales Representatives/Account Managers.

· Scheduling and facilitating peer groups for sales-related activities.

· Develops, proposes, and implements account sales and marketing strategic sales plans to achieve brand and corporate goals.

· Build & maintain productive, profitable, and friendly business relationships with clients and potential clients in the auto and flat glass repair and replacement industry.

· Serve as the liaison among customers, franchise locations, and internal teams, ensuring client requirements are met.

· Network effectively by organizing and attending industry events to build a pipeline of prospective clients

· Take appropriate actions to increase the visibility and stature of the organization.

· Promote the mission and values of the organization both internally and externally.

· Reports directly to the company's president and provides updates and progress regarding closing accounts.

· Maintain and develop knowledge of Glass Doctor products, guidelines, and processes.

· Perform other duties as required.

(Required qualifications)

· A proven leader with excellent written and verbal presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills who is effective at working with and influencing individuals at all organizational levels; persuasive and empathetic; able to handle pressure and manage conflict.

· Excellent selling, negotiation, and customer service skills.

· Strong quantitative, analytical, planning, and organizational skills.

· Self-confident; self-directed; ability to communicate findings, make recommendations, and facilitate change.

· Effective organizational development and management skills are necessary for success.

· Proficient in MS Office.

· Ability to develop and maintain strong internal and external working relationships within the glass repair and replacement industry.

· Confident in decision-making regarding project guidelines, purpose, following through, and completion.

· High level of critical and logical thinking, analysis, and/or reasoning to identify underlying principles, reasons, or facts.

· Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.

· Perseverant work ethic and positive team attitude.

· Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 lbs.

Education & Experience:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business or equivalent

Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive sales experience within the glass repair and replacement industry.
