Highland Electric Fleets is the leading provider of Electrification-as-a-Service (EaaS) for school districts, governments, and fleet operators in North America. Offering a unique suite of products, Highland makes it simple and affordable for public entities to upgrade their fleets to electric.
The Delivery Program Manager will lead and be accountable for development and construction initiatives and programs. They will drive efficiency and effectiveness through Highland’s project delivery process. They will prioritize initiatives based on impact to organizational goals.
They will drive strategy making, document and optimize process, and manage rollout and change. The role will report directly to the Vice President, Development and Construction. This role is remote with a 10%-15% travel expectation.
Responsibilities:
Partner with department leaders to develop project delivery metrics and potential
Drive efficiency by documenting workflows and optimizing process across Development and Construction activities
Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency across the department.
Maintain and drive impact through the partner program with direction from the Development, Engineering and Execution leaders
Lead project delivery efficiency and effectiveness initiatives across the company
Support establishment of resource planning to scale Development and Construction department
Administer and optimize the project management software tool and implementation Support creation of construction standards for electrical, civil, structural, and communication disciplines
Support creation of project design specifications and engineering packages
Establish the evaluation and implementation process for improvements to design, installation, or execution
Support the evolution and standardization of project management practice
Support safety initiatives across the department
Qualifications
6+ years office based professional experience OR a bachelor’s degree in technical field and 3+ years office based professional experience
3+ years of experience in project coordination, operations, or a similar role, preferably in construction or project management.
2+ years developing and reporting metrics
2+ years leading or supporting process optimization and documentation
EV charging/renewable energy project specific experience a plus
1+ year administering project management and other software tools
Exceptional prioritization skills, with experience delivering impact
Outcome oriented, with the ability to identify the largest impact opportunities
Exceptional attention to detail, documenting and delivering program updates
Analytical mindset with the ability to transform raw data into actionable insights
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to drive decision making at all levels of the organization
Collaborative and dynamic, with ability to prioritize in a scaling professional environment
