Due to the success of our organization, we are hiring a Director of Field Sales!

The Director of Field Sales at HCD plays a key role in driving growth by expanding our customer base and growing existing accounts through effective leadership of the sales force. This position oversees daily activity of the field sales team, meets with major clients, designs and implements sales strategies, and works closely with senior leadership on strategic and tactical decisions.  In addition, this role works closely with Marketing, Payer Relations, Legal/Compliance, Finance, Operations and Supply Chain teams to streamline efficiencies and gain profitable market share.  This position is accountable for the field sales team’s achievement of sales quotas and the effective use of sales tools.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Leadership: Provide leadership, guidance, and coaching to motivate team members and drive results. Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and winning within the sales organization. Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing sales team.
  • Sales Strategy Development: Achieve company objectives and business targets by developing and executing strategic sales plans. Identify market opportunities, industry trends, and competitive threats and develop tactical and strategic methods to capitalize on opportunities and mitigate risks.
  • Business Development: Expand our customer base and market presence by developing/maintaining strategic alliances and partnerships.
  • Performance Management: Monitor sales performance metrics and trends to evaluate team performance and identify areas for improvement. Implement corrective actions and strategies to optimize sales results for individuals and teams.   Support a pay-for-performance environment.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments including Marketing, Supply Chain, Legal/Compliance, Finance and Operations to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Growth Team Alignment: Align strategies with the Marketing, Payer and Sales Operations teams on strategy and tactical planning. Coordinate with Marketing Team on content, materials and campaigns designed to drive growth and support company sales objectives.  
  • Budgeting and Sales Quota Management: Work with Finance and Sales Operations on annual quota settings and adjustments.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles within the DME industry or related healthcare field
  • Solid, in-depth knowledge of the DME space, including products, services and market dynamics.
  • Experience and industry knowledge in multiple clinical therapies including diabetes, urology or wound care.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans
  • Experience managing and motivating a sales team to achieve targets and goals
  • Availability to travel up to 50%
  • Strong knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and private insurance landscape
  • Excellent negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
