We are seeking a skilled and experienced Bookkeeper and Payroll Accountant to join our team. This position offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic, international team and contribute to the financial health and operational efficiency of CloudPSO.

Job Responsibilities

  • Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate records of financial transactions using QuickBooks Online, ensuring all transactions are properly categorized and reconciled.
  • Payroll: Process payroll on a monthly basis, ensuring timely and accurate payment to employees in compliance with company policies and Pakistani tax laws.
  • Tax Compliance: Ensure understanding and application of Pakistani employee tax regulations, including withholding taxes, tax filings, and compliance with all local tax authorities.
  • Financial Reporting: Generate and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports, and provide regular updates to management.
  • Financial Models: Create and update financial models to track performance, forecast trends, and assist in decision-making.
  • Vendor Management: Ensure timely payments to vendors and suppliers and maintain accurate records of all business expenses.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the finance team and other departments to ensure accurate financial tracking and reporting.
  • Audit Support: Assist in preparation for audits and respond to any financial inquiries.


Requirements
  • Proven experience as a bookkeeper or payroll accountant, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Extensive experience with QuickBooks Online is required.
  • Knowledge of the employee tax system in Pakistan, including tax withholdings and filings.
  • Strong proficiency in English, both written and spoken, with the ability to communicate effectively with management and staff.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to provide detailed financial models and reports.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a night shift schedule, from 8 AM to 5 PM Pacific Time (Monday to Friday).
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
