Senior Accountant

Are you an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant with a passion for the dynamic world of iGaming? We are seeking a talented Senior Accountant to join our finance team and contribute to our continued growth and success.

As a Senior Accountant, you will:

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries, bank reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles, financial regulations, and industry best practices.
• Conduct monthly and yearly financial close processes, preparing and analyzing financial statements.
• Perform variance analysis and provide insights into financial performance for decision-making.
• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline financial processes, enhance efficiency, and implement controls.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting by delivering accurate and timely financial data.
• Handle payroll processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely disbursement.
• Participate in audits, working closely with external auditors to ensure compliance.
• Monitor and analyze financial performance indicators, highlighting trends and addressing risks or opportunities.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and accounting standards, integrating them into our processes.
• Provide financial guidance to management (bonus points if you can sprinkle in fun accounting-related puns!).

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional experience in accounting.
• ACCA certification or equivalent (a university degree in Accountancy is also accepted).
• Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role, ideally in the iGaming industry.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations (GAAP, IFRS).
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (iGaming-specific platforms are a plus).
• Advanced MS Excel skills.
• Payroll experience, including processing, compliance, and reporting.
• Exceptional analytical skills to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining financial integrity.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills to meet tight deadlines.
• Effective communication skills to present financial information clearly and concisely.
• Self-motivation with a desire for continuous development.
