Job description

APN Consulting has an immediate need for a direct client requirement:
Position: Business System Analyst
Type: Contract
Location: Toronto, Canada

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze requirements for new systems and enhancements to existing systems.
  • Conduct gap analysis to identify discrepancies between current capabilities and business needs.
  • Develop functional specifications and use cases to communicate requirements to development teams.
  • Assist in the design and implementation of new systems and processes, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Facilitate meetings and workshops with stakeholders to drive consensus and understanding.
  • Perform system testing and validation to ensure that solutions meet defined requirements.
  • Provide training and support to end-users to ensure effective system adoption.
  • Monitor system performance and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of business process modeling and analysis techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
  • Proficiency in requirements gathering and documentation tools (e.g., Visio, JIRA, Confluence).
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
