Responsibilities:  

  • Prepares legal documents, including contracts and demand letters, for attorney's approval; producing text; proofreading; maintaining document control system. 
  • Maintains contract database by organizing document control; designing retrieval systems; summarizing, managing and storing documents; updating system. 
  • General corporate filing and maintenance support 
  • Generates and updates template agreements, as necessary, and draft legal language for attorney review 
  • Research law sources by identifying applicable statutes, judicial decisions, and codes; initiating patent and trademark searches. 
  • Maintains technical knowledge and can quickly learn to operate document storing software 
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Location: This position will work onsite out of our Corporate Office in Sandy Springs, GA, with work from home flexibility on Fridays.  

 

Required Experience:  

  • At least 3-5 years’ experience as a paralegal with strong legal administration skills
  • Experience with legal compliance  
  • Bachelor’s degree
