Job description

We are looking for a highly skilled Microsoft Fabric specialist to join our team as a senior BI Consultant, focusing on front-end development. As a Microsoft Fabric specialist, you will play a pivotal role in transforming the way pharmaceutical drugs are developed and released. You will be responsible for designing and implementing innovative solutions, collaborating with various stakeholders to understand their business requirements and translate them into actionable insights.

The main focus of this role will be on the analysis, design, and technical development of Microsoft Fabric infrastructure solutions. You will interface with different parties to understand their business requirements and translate them into solutions and applications. You will be involved in all phases of the project, from requirement gathering to delivery, as well as defining best practices and building innovative solutions in a dynamic, evolving environment.

Principle Accountabilities:

  • Your main focus will be situated on the analysis and design of relevant solutions as well as the technical development of these solutions.

  • Interface with different parties to understand their business requirements, which you will translate into solutions & applications.
  • You will be involved in all phases of the project, from requirement gathering to delivery, as well as defining best practices and building innovative solutions; You are able to demonstrate creativity, flexibility, autonomy, and efficiency, within a dynamic, evolving environment.

  • You will work as a consultant of IQVIA on the Belgium market

Education, Experience, Soft skills & Specialized Knowledge Required:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree with a minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience in PBI and 1 or 2 years with Microsoft Fabric projects
  • Proficiency in English, with knowledge of Dutch and/or French being a plus.
  • Experience in gathering and challenging requirements and translating these into a design and/or solution.
  • Hands-on front-end development experience in Microsoft Fabric projects
  • Customer-oriented personality with a positive drive and a pragmatic, innovative approach
  • High interest in qualitative and quantitative data analysis and interpretation
  • Ability to work as part of a team or independently.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.

Any of the following elements are considered as a big plus:

  • Affinity with the healthcare sector
  • Data modelling skills
  • Knowledge of Data Warehousing, Scorecarding and performance management solutions.
  • Knowledge of Qlik Sense, Denodo, Snowflake, SSIS and other BI/DWH Tools
  • Working in Agile mode
  • General project management skills
