Key Responsibilities:

• Tyre Installation and Maintenance: Fit, balance, and align tyres on HGVs; Repair punctures and other tyre damage where applicable; Conduct inspections for tread depth, pressure, and wear patterns.
• Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols while handling tools, equipment, and tyres; Ensure all work complies with industry regulations and company policies; Keep up to date with legal requirements for tyre standards.
• On-Site Repairs: Respond promptly to roadside breakdowns to replace or repair tyres; Use specialized mobile equipment for on-site services.
• Workshop Duties: Maintain and calibrate tools and machinery used for tyre fitting and repairs; Keep the workshop clean and organized.
• Customer Service: Communicate effectively with clients about tyre issues and recommended solutions; Provide detailed reports on services performed and suggest proactive maintenance.
• Stock Management: Monitor inventory levels of tyres and related equipment; Assist in ordering and organizing stock as needed.
