Shell Recharge Solutions is seeking a Part-Time, Contract Image Labeler 

Shell Recharge Solutions is looking for a Part-Time, Contract Image Labeler to assist SRS in  growing our public changing network. Our public charging network business focuses on delivering turnkey EV charging solutions to strategic retail locations and other strategically placed public EV charging stations.  The Image Labeler role  will collaborate closely with the Data Scientist and Data Analyst to streamline data processing for analysis and reporting, thereby boosting the efficiency of our Volta Vision project operations.

The Objectives of the role, include:

•          Improve data accuracy and readiness for analysis.

•          Enhance data set quality through data labeling tasks.

•          Provide quick and efficient labels for campaign reporting

What you’ll do: 

Responsibilities of the contract Data Labeler, include but may not be limited to: 

Image Labels:

1. Station Views: Check for the Volta Vision possibility.
2. Environmental Labels: Identify conditions and blockers such as cables, people, and rain that may obstruct vehicles.
3. Vehicles: Provide bounding boxes for every electric vehicle in the images, including their make, model, and year.
4. Other: Provide bounding boxes for any other objects needed for future projects.

Verification:

1. Station Correctly Serviced: Verify if a station has improved after servicing, such as better orientation and focus.
2. PII: Ensure our PII redaction process effectively redacts all PII and flag images that still contain PII.

Payment and Timeframe:

• Payment is based on the number of images reviewed and quality/accuracy of images labeled. For the US, the rate is 8 cents per image.
• Working hours are flexible. Image labeling is compensated per image basis. Labelers can work at their convenience and pace.
• We provide batches of images, and labelers add relevant information to an Excel file.
• Image labelers are expected to review and label a minimum of 2,000 images/per week

Quality Evaluation Process:

• We evaluate labeling work on a regular, systematic basis.
• Accurate image labeling is essential.

What We’re Looking For: 

Basic Qualifications

• Basic computer skills (e.g., opening zip files) are sufficient.
• Automotive knowledge; specifically ability to quickly recognize make/model of vehicles
