Senior Manager, SEC Reporting & Technical Accounting

The Senior Manager, SEC Reporting and Technical Accounting will lead, prepare, and maintain SEC filings while also coordinating technical accounting needs for the company.

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare all SEC filings, e.g., 10-K, 10-Q, Proxy, Section 16 reporting, 8-K’s
• Collaborate cross-functionally as necessary to collect and evidence information and input into the above referenced reports
• Coordinate the review, including collecting and addressing all the comments on the various drafts, of the above referenced reports with external auditors, legal counsel, internal accounting teams, and executive management
• Maintain support files for all SEC filings, including preparing the financial statement tie-out
• Prepare the quarterly disclosure checklist
• Leverage the Workiva platform to ensure best practices and optimal efficiency
• Collaborate with Investor Relations to prepare the quarterly earnings release, financial tables, and script for earnings calls, including the implementation of revisions/updates to these materials
• Author and maintain a database of technical accounting policies  
• Research significant and complex transactions and prepare technical accounting memorandums supporting our position
• Provide support for external and internal audits, ensuring alignment with company policies and SOX requirements
• Other duties as assigned  

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in an SEC reporting environment
• 4+ years of audit experience at a public accounting firm (Big 4 preferred) with public clients
• CPA required
• Strong knowledge of GAAP
• Job related experience using AI or GenAI required
• Workiva experience preferred
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience preferred
• FloQast experience preferred

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, or related field 
• Master’s degree in accounting, business, or related field a plus
