Salary: $125,000 to $155,000 commensurate with experience

About the role:
The Technical Project Manager is responsible for leading the successful delivery of implementation projects using the firm’s low-code application platform, Evoke™. They will provide day-to-day, hands-on management of professional services projects and must possess a proven track record of successfully delivering complex, full lifecycle software-as-a-service (SaaS) implementations.
Compensation: Base salary commensurate with experience, eligibility for the company’s commission plan, and participation in the firm’s annual profit sharing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develops and maintains detailed project schedules and plans for assigned projects.
- Actively manages scope, risks, timeline, resource allocation, budget, and profitability for assigned projects.
- Responsible for meeting all contractual deliverables and milestones according to the approved project plan.
- Proactively manages risks by anticipating issues and working with the assigned project teams to mitigate and resolve them.
- Supervises technical implementation team members in their day-to-day execution of project tasks, including task assignment, monitoring progress on deliverables, and preparing accurate status reports for both internal and customer-facing audiences.
- Provides technical direction and guidance on implementation approaches that are consistent with software development lifecycle best practices.
- Implements quality control measures to ensure deliverables meet acceptance criteria.
- Works with leadership to identify and acquire resources needed to ensure that deliverable deadlines and payment milestones are met within the approved budget.
- Manages and maintains customer relationships, serving as the point of contact for all customer issues and/or requests.
- Maintains consistent, ongoing contact with customers regarding project status and conducts weekly project status meetings with customer stakeholders.
- Collaborates with the company’s support team to facilitate transition of customers to operations and maintenance.
- Supports business development efforts by scoping and creating project plans for proposals.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Proficient knowledge of agile project management methodologies as applied to SaaS and/or low-code application development.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Project.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to take initiative and effect change.
- Highly developed coaching and talent development skills.
- Ability to lead people and deal with diverse personalities.
- Excellent customer service skills; proven ability to communicate effectively when dealing with difficult customer issues.
- Ability to interact and work professionally with clients and employees at every level of the organization to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve project needs spanning risks, scope, technical, and budget.
- Outstanding verbal communication / listening skills: Ability to give full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, and asking questions as appropriate.
- Ability to travel within the United States up to 15%.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in business administration, engineering, computer science or related fields of study, or equivalent years of experience.
- Master’s degree preferred (business administration, computer science, engineering, or related fields of study).
- Over six years of experience managing enterprise SaaS, software development, or low-code application development projects for customers.
- PMP certification preferred.
- Scrum certification preferred.
