Event Marketing Manager (US based, Remote)

The Event Marketing Manager for GTreasury leads the strategic planning and execution of our global event marketing program, encompassing both hosted and sponsored events, including webinars. This role owns the event marketing strategy, budget management, and ROI optimization while leading a coordinator to deliver exceptional event experiences that drive demand generation and brand awareness.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Management
- Develop and execute comprehensive event marketing strategies aligned with company's demand generation and brand awareness goals
- Own the annual event marketing budget, including forecasting, allocation, and ROI tracking
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across marketing, sales, customer success, and product teams to ensure event alignment with business objectives
- Mentor and manage the Event Marketing Coordinator, providing guidance on event execution and professional development
- Event Program Development
- Evaluate and select strategic event opportunities across key regions, incorporating input from regional marketing, sales, and customer success teams
- Design and implement standardized processes for event selection, planning, execution, and measurement
- Oversee the end-to-end management of virtual and in-person events, including webinars, trade shows, and customer events
- Develop and maintain event playbooks and best practices documentation
Cross-functional Collaboration & Execution
- Partner with content and product teams to develop compelling event narratives and presentations
- Collaborate with design team to create impactful event collateral and promotional materials
- Work with marketing operations to ensure proper lead capture, scoring, and routing through Marketo/Salesforce
- Coordinate with sales teams on pre-event outreach and onsite meeting scheduling
- Partner with demand generation team on multi-channel event promotion and follow-up campaigns
Performance Analysis & Optimization
- Establish KPIs and reporting frameworks to measure event success and ROI
- Provide regular performance updates to leadership on event program metrics and impact
- Analyze event data to identify trends and optimization opportunities
- Create post-event analysis reports with actionable recommendations for future improvements
Required Skills
- 5+ years of event marketing experience, with at least 2 years in B2B technology
- Proven experience managing six-figure event budgets and demonstrating ROI
- Strong project management skills with experience using Monday.com or similar tools
- Proficiency with marketing technology stack (Marketo, Salesforce, virtual event platforms)
- Experience managing and mentoring direct reports
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related degree preferred, or equivalent experience

- Salary: The expected annual median salary for this role is $85,000. Actual compensation for an individual may vary depending on skills, performance, qualifications, experience, and location.
